All Abilities and Community Programs

As a community club, we believe giving back and contributing is important for our kids to understand.

BUjFC supports various community programs where we believe we can make a difference and provide football for those who may not normally have access to the game.

All Abilities 'Football For Fun' Program

BUjFC is proud to support the local community and an important part of that is running 'Football For Fun', the FV All Abilities football program for children with an intellectual and/or learning disability.

The program is open to boys and girls from 6 - 15 yo, no football experience necessary. It teaches  co-ordination and ball skills through a variety of games, is flexible (no need to sign up for a season) and includes the option of playing in the FV All Abilities League. For more information on the league, please see
All Abilities Handbook under Documents and Policies.

Training days are held at JT Gray Reserve:

When: Saturday morning 10 - 11am
Starts early May - see calendar for dates

KAREN COMMUNITY Support Program

Barnies has developed special links with the Karen Community in Australia - people of south east Myanmar (Burma) in some of the refugee camps along the Thai border.

The WBC has been instrumental in bringing out several families as refugees to settle in Australia, and have provided social, language and material aid.

Barnies has been able to assist the Karen community to further participate in community life by sponsoring various children to play soccer at Barnies.

Barnies takes great pride in being able to Support the Karen Community with our ongoing sporting assistance.
